Neighbors, Community Organizations Rally for Urgently Needed Pedestrian Safety Measures

On Friday September 13th, Tenderloin residents and community based organizations rallied together to shut down the intersection of Golden Gate and Leavenworth Streets, demanding swift action to prevent any more traffic violence in the neighborhood. Supervisor Matt Haney, who has called for a state of emergency regarding this issue spoke in solidarity with the organizers.
