TLCBD IN THE NEWS: SHOWCASING COMMUNITY RESILIENCE
We’re proud to have been featured in the news, showcasing our role in the neighborhood’s resilience. In a recent ABC 7 report, our team’s relentless efforts to maintain cleanliness and safety were highlighted, demonstrating our critical impact even as the homeless population declines. This resilience is echoed by local businesses like Tilted Brim, a beloved streetwear store known for its iconic Tenderloin-branded hoodies. Co-owner Justin, who also serves on the TLCBD board, illustrates the positive influence of community engagement and local entrepreneurship. Further reinforcing our commitment to neighborhood resilience, we are advocating for new legislation to curb the sale of stolen goods, aiming to improve street conditions and support local businesses. These interconnected efforts underscore our unwavering dedication to fostering a thriving and resilient Tenderloin community.

We’re proud to report that these events that brought together hundreds of community members, enhancing neighborhood spirit and connectivity. Additionally, TLCBD has been pivotal in managing the Community Action Grant Projects which significantly impact public spaces, promoting cultural events, and supporting youth and wellness initiatives across the Tenderloin. These efforts reflect our commitment to fostering a vibrant, safe, and a long last impact on our community.
