Tenderloin Talk Live is a new quarterly event presented by the Tenderloin Community Benefit District. Through Tenderloin Talk Live events, we will work to strengthen our community connection, encourage dialogue on neighborhood issues, and provide opportunities to engage with a variety of our neighborhood-serving projects and programs.
We believe that in order to achieve our core purpose of the Tenderloin becoming a “Vibrant Community For All” it will take the community coming together with a strong voice and strong vision.
On June 14th, we invite you to meet with neighbors, board of directors, and staff members over light refreshments. TLCBD will present our various programs and projects, allowing space for community dialogue throughout.
Among the projects and programs presented:
Your New Clean Team – Working seven days a week to keep Tenderloin sidewalks clean.
- Tenderloin Safe Passage – A community effort to build a culture of safety.
- Safe Passage Senior – A component of Safe Passage created to provide services and meet the needs of senior residents of the Tenderloin.
- Tenderloin Camera Project – A Tenderloin area camera network established to help improve the safety and quality of life in the Tenderloin.
- Turk & Hyde Mini Park Pilot – A several month pilot program to bring positive, healthy activation to the Turk & Hyde Mini Park. Grant opportunities available.
