This month, we’re thrilled to welcome Latin Grammy-nominated vocalist José Andrés “El Sinsonte” and friends for a special celebration of changüí, the African-rooted party music of Eastern Cuba. Joining him are Bay Area Afro-Cuban music standouts Kai Lyons (tres & vocals), Einar Leliebre (percussion & vocals), and Ernesto Mazar (bass & vocals).
Experience the infectious rhythms, improvisation, and rich cultural traditions of one of Cuba’s oldest musical styles, all outdoors in Dodge Alley.
