It's been four months since popular food truck The Chairman (formerly known as Chairman Bao) shuttered its Tenderloin brick-and-mortar location, after just three years in operation. But a new kid in town, called Paper Rooster, is aiming to take over where the Chairman left off. Today was the ‘bread breaking’ ceremony for La Cocina’s Municipal Marketplace, marking the beginning of construction of the country's first all-women-led food hall. The marketplace is expected to open in Spring 2019 at 101 Hyde Street in Tenderloin, where the post office once stood.Read More
