  • Changüí ~ Featuring José Andrés “El Sinsonte” and Friends

    This month, we're thrilled to welcome Latin Grammy-nominated vocalist José Andrés "El Sinsonte" and friends for a special celebration of changüí, the African-rooted party music of Eastern Cuba. Joining him are Bay Area Afro-Cuban music standouts Kai Lyons (tres & vocals), Einar Leliebre (percussion & vocals), and Ernesto Mazar (bass & vocals).

    Sruti Sarathy shares an evening of traditional South Indian melodies on the Carnatic violin and the mridangam, spanning traditional raga, improvisation, and original songs. Live music and local businesses animate the Tenderloin’s Dodge Alley every 2nd Thursday of the month, with support from the TLCBD & SFOEWD.

Cascada de Flores share an evening of song and story, drawing on their vast repertoire and curiosity for the multitudes of Mexican music and its cross cultural reverberations. Música from the heart: song, dance, and story for all ages.

    Join us for the Psyched! Radio Posada, a vibrant celebration of community and culture. Rooted in Mexican tradition, a posada is a gathering that fosters unity through music, food, and festivities, often featuring piñatas, dance, and delicious traditional fare. This free event brings live performances by a surprise headliner and Philthy Dronez, as well as DJ sets by DJ Lucha (Y La Bamba), Lizzy Al Toque, Discomovil Salazar, Pinch+Lesli, DJ Bstone, Distorsiogay, and Olive Black, with stunning visuals curated by Goyri.

Christie Aida & the Free Press will ignite the atmosphere with soulful vocals and dynamic instrumentals. The talented lineup includes Dave Mihaly on drums, Fernando Rodriguez on bass, Billy White on keys, Mena Ramos on percussion, and Annelise Zamula on saxophone.
