Safer Taylor Street

SAfer taylor street

The Tenderloin Community Benefit District in collaboration with Walk SF will be leading a series of presentations to provide general information and gather community input and then later more in-depth workshops (open to anyone who is interested). These community events and workshops will provide great opportunity for residents, businesses, organizations, and other stakeholders to share their ideas for the future of Taylor Street. If you’d like to be involved, get in touch by phone or by using our Contact page. Write “Safer Taylor” in the subject line.

The Safer Taylor Street Project is a critical component of San Francisco’s Vision Zero goal to eliminate all traffic deaths by year 2024. This initiative aims to tame streets with higher collision rates to prevent pedestrian related incidents. Starting this spring, the SFMTA will be collaborating with Taylor Street residents, businesses, community and advocacy groups to develop a new vision for Taylor Street between Market and Sutter streets that improves safety for all users.
