Federal drug crackdown yields 32 arrests in notoriously drug-heavy San Francisco neighborhood [USA Today]

Supervisor Haney introduces "Street Level Drug Dealing Task Force Legislation"

During the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, July 30th, Supervisor Matt Haney introduced draft legislation to enact a City Task Force in response to the issue of open drug markets in the Tenderloin, Mid Market, SoMa, and Civic Center neighborhoods. TLCBD has supported the call for a Task Force since introducing the Tenderloin Thrives initiative earlier this year.
