Bourbon & Branch Team Quietly Opens New Tiki Bar [Eater SF]

Thatched roofs, skulls, and loads of rum cocktails have made their way to the Tenderloin: Zombie Village, the latest bar from the Future Bars group, is now open. Zombie Village lands at 441 Jones Street, which previously held Future Bars’ American-themed Tradition. This is the second tiki bar for the group, which debuted Pagan Idol in 2016, and previously opened Bourbon & Branch, Local Edition, and Rickhouse. Read more via Eater SF here.

SF Eats: Paper Rooster taking TL's Chairman space, poke bowls coming to the Richmond, more [Hoodline]

It's been four months since popular food truck The Chairman (formerly known as Chairman Bao) shuttered its Tenderloin brick-and-mortar location, after just three years in operation. But a new kid in town, called Paper Rooster, is aiming to take over where the Chairman left off. Tenderloin residents march to City Hall to vote [SF Gate]

A group of Tenderloin residents marched to San Francisco City Hall Saturday to cast their ballots in an event hosted by Skywatchers and GLIDE's Leadership Academy. Read more here. Also, make your voice heard and get out and vote! City Hall is open for voters now. The City Hall Voting Center is open, Monday-Friday (8am-5pm), Saturday and Sunday, two weekends before Election Day (10am-4pm), and on Tuesday, Election Day, 7am-8pm.
