A WEEK FOR THE TL’S 400+ SMALL BUSINESSES
We loved celebrating Small Business Week in the TL, and hope you did too.
The Tenderloin is home to over 400 small businesses, supporting more than 500 entrepreneurs and reflecting the fact that 90% of businesses in San Francisco are small businesses. Every time you grab a bite, pick up a gift, or find a new favorite spot, you’re helping our local economy thrive.

CLEANER STREETS, STRONGER COMMUNITY
TLCBD remains committed to keeping our Tenderloin streets clean. In the past year, the team has removed over 1 million pounds of litter from the streets, a testament to the benefit and necessity of the program. We wouldn’t be able to do it without our supporters and donors. This month, we secured private funding to continue our Clean Operations Swing Shift into the TL Business Corridor and Safe Passage Route. We hope to continue to create a cleaner and more vibrant community as our team works tirelessly to remove litter, graffiti, and debris from the streets.
With an emphasis on safety and sustainability, this program is essential to the Tenderloin, consistently improving the quality of life in the neighborhood.
PSYCHED! FOR TENDERLOIN ARTS & MUSIC
This past weekend marked the return of the Tenderloin Music & Arts Festival—a free, three-day, all-ages celebration of global creativity through the arts. Hosted by Psyched! Radio, this year’s festival featured over 100 performances across 13 shows, including live music, poetry, drag, and immersive art. Featured acts included Son Rompe Pera, Fake Fruit, and Marina Fages at venues across the Tenderloin, including Edinburgh Castle, Emperor Norton’s Boozeland, and Dodge Alley.
We’re proud to be partners in this vibrant neighborhood celebration, which you can read more about on the SF Examiner.
