Fall Family Festival

This Friday, join the Salvation Army Kroc Center and a number of other community partners for the first annual Tenderloin Fall Family Festival! The event will include a costume contest (with prizes!), as well as snacks, games, and other activities.
UC Hastings Spooky Story Time

That Associated Students of UC Hastings is hosting a special virtual reading event for children in the Tenderloin and neighboring communities. Law students will be available to read spooky Halloween-themed stories to kids of all ages, and the event can be access via Zoom.
TL Pumpkin Patch
Where: Larkin St.
When: Sunday, October 31, 12-5PM
The Larkin St. corridor will feature a number of fun, family-friendly activities on Halloween including games, goodie bag giveaways, an adult pumpkin carving contest, children’s pumpkin painting and more. Trick-or-treating will also be offered at small businesses on Larkin between O’Farrell St. and Eddy St!
Macaulay Halloween Bash
Where: Sgt. John Macaulay Park
When: Sunday, October 31, 3-8PM
We’re excited to keep the Halloween fun going at Macauley Park on Sunday evening! This kid-focused event will include pizza, candy, and a number of Halloween-themed games and activities.
Dia De Los Muertos Celebration
Where: Boeddeker Park
When: Monday, November 1, 4-7PM
TLCBD and La Voz are excited to host a Dia De Los Muertos celebration at Boeddeker Park! Activities will include a drum circle, photobooth and coloring. Face painting will be available from 5-6PM, and Teokalli will perform an Aztec dance and ceremony at 6PM. Snacks and beverages will also be provided.
