The Tenderloin Community Benefit District is offering $3,000 mini-grants to provide financial support to small Tenderloin businesses trying to reopen in the post COVID19 environment. We want to support businesses that are still operating or are facing additional costs because they would like to open in compliance with the City’s social distancing requirements. Priority will be given to businesses using the grant for purchase of equipment for outdoor food service or outdoor business operations.
To be eligible, a business must be located in the Tenderloin, have a payroll, and operate out of a storefront. The Tenderloin is the area bounded by north side of Market St, east side of Van Ness Ave, north side of Geary Street, and west side of Mason Street.
The deadline to apply is Friday, September 30th at 5PM. Priority will be given on a first-come first-serve basis to complete applications for outdoor equipment. Remaining complete applications will be selected by a lottery.
