Here’s a look at the October 2019 TLCBD Clean Team stats, including 23,240 pounds of trash collected.
This month we are piloting a cordless power washer (as pictured above). This device is making life easier for our team members while saving time when removing feces. This is proving to be a more effective stain remover as well. In addition, this innovation allows us to free up our pressure washer trucks to more efficiently serve the District. Stay tuned for more information about our increased scheduled pressure washing!
As always, we encourage you to call or text the Clean Team at 415-385-5490 for incidents that pose a health hazard on our sidewalks, such as ‘code browns’.
Also if you see the Clean Team members out working, be sure to say hello! As neighbors, we must work together for a cleaner Tenderloin.
We partner with both Block by Block and Downtown Streets, as well as Public Works, to coordinate cleaning efforts in the neighborhood.
To provide a compliment or feedback about our Clean Team please contact Fernando (at) TLCBD (dot) org. We love to hear from you.
