A visit to San Francisco’s Tenderloin District “immersed” Yolo County attorneys and others in law enforcement into the issues surrounding homeless, addiction and mental illness. The effort was designed to increase empathy in addressing homeless issues. During the training at the Glide Church in San Francisco, police officers, prosecutors, and other leaders in the criminal justice community from California and Oregon were given what is being called “21st Century Leadership Training.” Read more via the Daily Democrat.
