ShortLived VIII – “The nation’s largest, audience-judged theater competition” (SF Chronicle) returns to PianoFight with 200 local artists creating 48 show plays, competing over 9 weeks to crown 1 champion and win $5,000. The Infinite Wrench – 50 weekends a year, the critically-acclaimed San Francisco Neo-Futurists present The Infinite Wrench, an attempt to perform 30 bite-sized plays in a frantic race against the clock, in an order determined by you, the audience, with new plays ranging from the personal, to the political, to the profoundly WTF, all truthful and inspired by the lived experiences of the performers. Drunk Theatre – A comedian takes five shots of whiskey in a row and tries to perform an improvised play with five sober comedians. What could go wrong?! Drunk Theatre is the entirely improvised, unpredictable, and crazy comedy show that’ll kick your weekend into overdrive. Come see what Thrillist, Eventbrite, SF Weekly and the SF Chronicle have all been talking about. Every first and third Saturday, 10pm, ongoing. Tickets
Comedy Baseball – Two teams of comedians play a baseball video game that’s controlled by telling jokes. Each inning features a different joke structure and the pitches are suggestions from the audience. When the audience cheers, they hit the ball pretty hard. And if the audience jeers or boos, it’s gonna be a bad hit. Teams of SF’s best stand up and improv comedians duke it out for a chance to be crowned the World Series Champs of Comedy Baseball. Art Program at TILDEN HOTEL
Location: Tilden Hotel, 345 Taylor St

Championing love and LGBT Pride Month, Tilden Hotel welcomes local non-binary trans artist Eric Dyer in its upcoming two-month artist showcase on the ground floor of the hotel. Free to enjoy by the public and hotel guests, the Tilden Hotel rotating art series shines a light on San Francisco’s spirited creativity and engaging community while directly supporting local artists. Dyer’s oil on canvas paintings, inspired by walks around San Francisco and personal experiences, will be on display through July.
Aunt Charlie’s Angel by Tim Snyder at TENDERLOIN MUSEUM

A free public celebration and opening reception for the Ducal Court exhibition, featuring original, multi-media portraiture paintings by Tenderloin artist Tim Snyder, as well as performances by the Ducal court.
In Aunt Charlie’s Angels, visual artist Tim Snyder captures the glittery greatness of the Grand Ducal Council of San Francisco, a charitable organization that provides grants to communities and individuals who are often marginalized by civic fundraising structures. More info
SF First Thursday Art Walk: Tenderloin and Lower Polk

Mark your calendars! The next SF First Thursday Art Walk is set for Thursday, June 6th. Come check out the multifaceted display of color and imagination.
