Supremacy at EXIT THEATRE

Connor, an adopted black youth, has lived his entire young life flying under the radar, adhering to the rules of “the talk.” When an officer involved shooting thrusts him into the crux of his city’s mounting racial & political animus, between opposing movements for power, he is set on a journey of mythic proportions to learn the truth of his heritage. A revelation that holds the key to the greatest superpower against man’s inhumanity to man.

The Annual CounterPulse Gala at COUNTERPULSE

The Center for New Music (C4NM) fosters contemporary music’s growth by giving practicing artists access to professional resources and expertise, and by providing them with opportunities for sharing knowledge and exploring new ideas. On evenings and weekends, C4NM presents concerts of all types of new creative music, from contemporary classical to avant-garde, to new jazz, and more.

PianoFight is a community-driven indy arts venue that takes pride in partnering with local artists to make great shows, mouth watering eats and delicious cocktails adding up to a uniquely San Francisco experience. Sharks: One Year Anniversary Show at SWIM GALLERY

SWIM Gallery is proud to present “SHARKS”, a dynamic group exhibition that features the works of over 30 incredible artists. Like sharks navigating the ocean landscape, artists are beautiful and majestic, yet ruthless. They embody both the light and dark sides of perception. An artist must be strong, persistent, and never be let down by denial or failure; simultaneously, steady and consistent when producing work. The artists of “SHARKS” display these characteristics. They are all strong and hold their ground in a competitive art ecosystem where various institutions are all out to survive.This exhibition curated by Yarrow Slaps and Auguste Somers marks the 1 year anniversary of SWIM Gallery.

KulArts presents PostColonial Survival Kit at LUGGAGE STORE GALLERY

PostColonial Survival Kit is a FREE exhibition that explores survival tactics of contemporary tribal and diasporic Pilipinx against the historical and ongoing inequities of cultural erasure and marginalization, brought on by centuries of colonization. The exhibition features tribal soil paintings, sculpture, installation, and media art and will run from May 3-31 at the Luggage Store Gallery.
