When: Sunday, April 14
Where: Throughout the Tenderloin (see map below)
Sunday Streets has teamed up with a number of neighborhood organizations, as well as the Thai New Year and Southeast Asian Food & Culture Festival for a fun, family-oriented day in the Tenderloin.
For Sunday Streets, there will be four key activation areas in the Tenderloin. See the map below. Head to each area to meet Tenderloin groups and join in on activities. You can find us along Larkin Street, near Ellis Street.
Through the Thai New Year Festival, there will be one festival stage, 4 live bands, on stage Muay Thai boxing demonstrations from local children’s school, traditional Southeast Asian dances, A Southeast Asian fashion show, a Thai beer garden, approximately 15 food booths, children’s activity center and 3 children’s bounce houses.
TLCBD Safe Passage is also the lucky organization, selected by the Thai New Year Festival, to be the recipients of the Beer Garden fundraiser! Thank you, Lers Ros and the organizers of the Thai New Year Festival!
Both Sunday Streets and the Thai New Year Festival are free to attend.
