Each first Friday of the month is “Four Corner Friday!” Community groups and neighbors are encouraged to go out; mix, mingle, and meet some new people. Find us stationed in front of the TLCBD Office (512 Ellis St) and look for balloons throughout the neighborhood.
The purpose of 4 Corner Friday is simple:
-
To create and strengthen meaningful relationships among neighbors (and our friends) in the Tenderloin: residents, families, children, and organizations, housed and unhoused.
-
To have fun!
Participating groups volunteer to cover corners and proceed to engage passerby, neighbors, and friends in positive healthy activity such as art making, information sharing, giveaways, singing and more. Join the festivity by covering a corner or simply connecting with neighbors throughout the Tenderloin.
