On July 24, the second annual Commission on the Environment’s environmental service award was received by the Tenderloin Community Benefit District and the Safe Passage Team, after being nominated by Commissioner Mike Sullivan of Orrick Harrington & Sutcliffe.
Safe Passage is a partner in Safe Routes to School programs which aim to make it safer for students to walk and bike to school and encourage more walking and biking where safety is not a barrier. As a partner, Safe Passage has been tasked with working in SoMa and Bayview to provide training and technical expertise to community partners in furthering a culture of safety.
Big thanks to the San Francisco Department of the Environment!
