Are you looking for excellent volunteer opportunities or other ways to give back? Want to learn more about how we work to ensure the Tenderloin is a vibrant community for ALL. Host TLCBD staff for a TLCBD Open House.
Most recently, TLCBD visited sustainable architectural and engineering firm, P.A.E, at their San Francisco offices on the unit block of Golden Gate Avenue. The event was part of their inaugural summer speaker series, which brings in organizations from the neighborhood to create stronger community connections and opportunity.
During the event, TLCBD staff gave an overview of our neighborhood programs, including the Safe Passage and Clean Team efforts as well as neighborhood history and culture. Through these TLCBD Open House sessions we offer excellent ways to cultivate deeper understanding and appreciation for the neighborhood while channeling outlets for involvement including volunteer opportunities. We encourage attendees to bring forth their questions and open up a conversation around some of the neighborhood’s most pressing issues.
A big thank you to all the staff at P.A.E. for their engaged questions, desire to give back, and for hosting and connecting with us.
Whether you’re a property owner, new business in the neighborhood, a group of residents wanting to learn more, or a San Francisco corporation looking to give back, TLCBD Open House sessions offer excellent opportunity for engagement and connection.
Interested in bringing the TLCBD to your place of work, organization, or home, please email TLCBD’s Director of Communications, [email protected] to learn more. Events are custom-tailored to the hosting group.
