Fresh off the heals of a dynamite performance at the Cadillac Hotel, the Tenderloin’s SF Recovery Theatre brings their special brand of artistic expression and community to PianoFight on Saturday, February 17th, 5pm at PianoFight (144 Taylor Street). The show is free, RSVP here.
About SF Recovery Theatre:
The Recovery Theatre is a grassroots organization with a lot of local and some municipal support. It is funded by grants from the art and health community in San Francisco with no full time staff, but with a core group of dedicated actors, composed mainly of people in recovery. Its mission is to meet people where they are, provide a medium of communication and deliver a message of hope, consequence and solutions.
About the show:
SF Recovery Theatre will present their flagship production of A Night at the Black Hawk; an ongoing original jazz musical reflecting on the lives and stories of the artists, musicians and residents that lived in the shadow of the Tenderloins’ own, Black Hawk Jazz Club.
