SF Chronicle critic, Beth Spotwood, may or may not have had their mind read during David Garard’s almost weekly magic mystery arts show at PianoFight (144 Taylor Street).
According to the mesmerized review, during the show, Signs, the crowd of 70 or so was held rapt by Gerard’s series of mind-reading experiments, dramatic vignettes and yes, card tricks — all held together by a Millennial-friendly rapid-fire charm offensive . . . [It’s] the hip San Franciscans’ magic show.
