The legendary GLIDE Ensemble as well as its founders and new leadership helped Mayor Ed Lee kick off a weekend of anti-hate protests with the Unite Against Hate rally last Friday at City Hall. A fitting start for new GLIDE president, Karen Hanrahan, who joins the iconic Tenderloin organization after previous work for the Obama administration.
