A new Thai spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to the Tenderloin, called Lapats Thai Noodles Bar, is located at 601 Larkin St. (between Willow St & Eddy St).
The new spot, which replaces Vietnamese spot Mangosteen, features a lunch and dinner menu with a variety of rice plates, pan-fried noodles, curries and house noodles, including the Lapat’s Special Noodle (sliced pork, ground pork, fish ball in house pork bone soup) and Kuay Jub (rice noodles with pork entrails, crispy pork belly and boiled eggs in Thai herb soup). (See the full menu here.)
