A Benefit for Safe Passage’s 15th Year Anniversary

TLCBD’s Safe Passage Program has steadfastly been at the forefront of ensuring the safety of the Tenderloin community, especially our children, families and seniors. Safe Passage, founded 15 years ago by community members including Tenderloin mothers and neighborhood youth, has grown into an established and critical part of the fabric of the Tenderloin’s safety infrastructure. With over 18 staff, speaking 7 different languages, our Corner Captains and Safety Leads are from the community they serve, and provide safe escort on some of the most challenging intersections and streets within the Tenderloin, detouring negative behavior, and keeping children and families, residents, seniors and visitors safe.
Suggested ticket price is $150 but any donation is welcome.
