Safe Street Advocates Call for a State of Emergency

After two more pedestrian fatalities in the Tenderloin, Walk San Francisco held a rally earlier this month to demand that the city take emergency measures to provide safe streets. As well as SF Chronicle’s opinion piece, “rebuilding cities for people, not cars.” At TLCBD we are also pushing for changes to dangerous intersections, including more pedestrian scrambles; plus education and escorting following these changes.
