TLCBD Clean Team Stats for August 2018

August saw the arrival of five new trashcans in the District. Among the street cleaning stats, our hard-working TLCBD Clean Team responded to 96 Hot Line requests, collected 27,265 pounds of trash, properly sanitized for 140 instances of human/animal waste, and properly disposed of 2,335 syringes.

Love Our City, SF Giant Sweep Community Clean Up Day 9/8

Join your neighbors on Saturday, September 8, 9am-noon, as we get swept up with civic pride and all do our part to keep our city clean. The ask is simple: LOVE OUR CITY! Grab a broom and dustpan, sweep the sidewalk in front of your home or business and pick up litter in your neighborhood.

Fix-It Team Lighting Program (San FrancisGLO) is distributing free motion-sensor lights

The City’s Fix-It Team is distributing free motion-sensor solar LED lighting for property owners to install on their properties to enhance sidewalk visibility. Property owners must sign a waiver form to participate; priority is given to properties within existing Fix-It neighborhoods, of which the Tenderloin is one. TLCBD Clean Team Stats for July 2018

July was another busy month for our hard working TLCBD Clean Team. They responded to 91 Hot Line requests, collected 33,425 pounds of trash, properly sanitized for 142 instances of human/animal waste, and properly disposed of 2,259 syringes, 324 more than June. Our scheduled pressure washing covered 261 block faces.
