The City’s Fix-It Team is distributing free motion-sensor solar LED lighting for property owners to install on their properties to enhance sidewalk visibility. Property owners must sign a waiver form to participate; priority is given to properties within existing Fix-It neighborhoods, of which the Tenderloin is one. July was another busy month for our hard working TLCBD Clean Team. They responded to 91 Hot Line requests, collected 33,425 pounds of trash, properly sanitized for 142 instances of human/animal waste, and properly disposed of 2,259 syringes, 324 more than June. Our scheduled pressure washing covered 261 block faces.Read More
