Thursday, August 2, 6pm – 8pm, Salvation Army Kroc Center Gymnasium, 240 Turk St.

Saturday, August 4, 2pm – 4pm, Hotel Kabuki Sakura Room A, 1625 Post St.

There are two opportunities to review and learn more about the Geary Rapid Project's final design before construction begins this fall. The project aims to improve Muni’s 38 Geary and 38R Geary Rapid bus service and address traffic safety.

Attendees will be able to:

  • Review the final project design that will be presented to the SFMTA Board in August for action or approval. Learn about improvements proposed along Geary and portions of O’Farrell between Market and Stanyan streets, including dedicated bus lanes, bus stop changes and safety treatments.
  • Learn about work coordinated with the Geary Rapid Project, including roadway repaving sponsored by SF Public Works and water and sewer main upgrades sponsored by the SF Public Utilities Commission.
  • View project information stations hosted by project staff who can answer your questions.
