Join TLCBD for Tenderloin tree plantings, community clean events

Love Our City-Web Banner v1-01_0_0.jpg

TLCBD is excited to present the community with several upcoming volunteer opportunities in partnership with San Francisco's Public Works. These events offer a chance to connect with community members, share our pride, and amplify the positivity we feel on a daily basis while beautifying our neighborhood.

These upcoming events (Aug 18th, September 8th, and 11th) offer a chance to leverage city resources in improving the neighborhood while serving as a potential springboard to future events.

You are welcome to participate as an individual, but TLCBD will take the lead in registering community members as part of a team. Join us!

To register with the TLCBD team for any of the following, please email or call 415-292-4812 ext 300.

Below is information on the three events:

From the organizers:

Join your neighbors on Saturday September 8, as we get swept up with civic pride and all do our part to keep our city clean. The ask is simple: LOVE OUR CITY! Grab a broom and dustpan, sweep the sidewalk in front of your home or business and pick up litter in your neighborhood.

Together, we can make a meaningful, positive impact.

When:  Tuesday September 11th, 9am

Where: Tenderloin, meeting location TBD

The TLCBD has advocated for more trees in the Tenderloin, and we are happy to report that Public Works will be provided 40 more trees to the neighborhood. Up to 30 volunteers will be recruited work with TLCBD and Public Works staff to plant them throughout the Tenderloin. Join us by contacting or calling using the info above and we will share the details as they come available.
