Tired of those unsightly utility boxes and trash cans? Now you can visit Art Wraps for the Heart of the Tenderloin, an exciting Tenderloin art project whose installation began last weekend.  The project consists of artist-designed vinyl wraps on 20 SFMTA traffic control signal boxes and 22 DPW trash cans in the Tenderloin neighborhood. The Tenderloin Museum is proud to host the opening reception for 'Art Wraps for the Heart of the Tenderloin' on October 12th 5:30-9pm. Patrons are encouraged to join us at 6pm for a walking tour of the Art Wraps — led by long-time Tenderloin Museum tour guide and neighborhood advocate, Pam Coates — to see the transformative artwork and hear more about the inspiration and connection to our neighborhood from the artists themselves.
