Tenderloin Talk Live is a quarterly event inaugurated in June 2017 by the Tenderloin Community Benefit District. Through Tenderloin Talk Live events, we work to strengthen our community connection, encourage dialogue on neighborhood issues, and provide opportunities to engage with a variety of our neighborhood-serving projects and programs.

At the first event—June 2017 at 201 Turk—we reintroduced the TLCBD staff, projects, and programs and paused throughout to engage in conversation and to hear from the community what was most important to them.

During the September 7th event held at the Hamilton on O’Farrell Street, we actively engaged the community in Quality of Life issues affecting the neighborhood. Five staff members facilitated working groups comprised of approximately ten audience members each

At the January 2018 installment held at De Marillac Academy, we introduced a new strategy and campaign, Invest Tenderloin, largely influenced by the conversations held at previous events and meetings to deepen our work for improving quality of lives in the neighborhood.
